WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY?
Hypnotherapy offers an effective choice for change that impacts our positive beliefs strengthening the healthier part of our subconscious mind. If we don't possess a positive belief system, the negative behaviors we wish to change will resist our efforts to change them. Hypnotherapy may help us if we feel we endlessly struggle against unhealthy old habits and beliefs.

A Hypnotherapist utilizes hypnosis versus talk therapy to assist clients in achieving their wellness and life goals. A Hypnotherapist differs from others therapists in the sense that they focus primarily on the role of subconscious and how the subconscious influences the client's life and can therefore change the clients life on this level.
FIRST SESSION
WHAT IS A HYPNOTHERAPY SESSION LIKE? In the first session, goals and reasons for seeking hypnotherapy are processed. Following this, the 'trance state' is explained in more detail as well as what hypnosis is and isn't and how it works. The main goal of the first session is to understand client goals and introduce the trance state. This first session is 1 1/2 hours in length while subsequent sessions generally last one hour in duration. Due to the fact that hypnosis is effective in many areas of a client's life they will often begin addressing one issue, and then return or continue hypnosis to address other areas as well. The physical feeling of hypnosis varies with each individual. Most clients thoroughly enjoy the state of hypnosis and emerge with a sense of calmness, relaxation and a general sense of well being.

Hypnosis can be described as an altered state of consciousness, which results in an increased receptiveness and response to suggestions. While the physical body and the conscious mind enter a state of deep relaxation, the SUBCONSCIOUS MIND is focused, accessible and receptive to suggestions for positive changes. Hypnosis allows access to the subconscious mind where suggestions can be given to create changes in beliefs or behaviors that no longer serve your. HYPNOSIS IS SAFE, IT IS EFFECTIVE AND IT WORKS! The American Medical Association approved its use in 1958. HYPNOSIS IS NOT MIND CONTROL. Hypnosis is not magic either. It cannot make you do something against your free will or ethical beliefs. It is a useful and effective technique available to those who seek to make positive changes because it allows the subconscious mind to become a powerful team with the new desires of the conscious mind. Hypnosis has been used for centuries around the world. During the process clients are neither asleep nor completely awake. Focus simply increases and the client is always in control.

Now offering “Begin Within Hypnosis Packages” uniquely created just for you and your specific challenges! This offering has been developed for clients to be able to receive the benefits of Hypnosis without having to schedule multiple in-person appointments; and for the benefit of being able to utilize the sessions repeatedly and from the comfort and convenience of one’s own home.

Packages will consist of a combination of an initial private 1:1 video consultation session in addition to specifically tailored personal hypnosis recording sessions created and developed for each person’s unique challenges.
Professionally recorded Hypnosis sessions are a very effective for many people. Clients simply listen to them as instructed. Hypnosis is utilized to interrupt the thought patterns and/or repetitive behaviors that have been developed or “wired in” over the years, and replace these old patterns with new thoughts, behaviors, and a new response belief. This is accomplished with suggestions and visualizations to rewire the subconscious mind. The personal recordings will be formatted as a mp3 and they can be listened to from cell phone, tablet or PC using headphones in the comfort of your own home.

What Are Binaural Beats?(Binaural beats are an auditory illusion caused by listening to two tones of slightly different frequency, one in each ear. This live contact sets this process apart from just generic hypnosis recordings because it allows Craig to connect and get to the root cause of underling issue.

Contact Live Initial private 1:1 Consultation Session (Phone or Video)
During the initial consultation session Craig will take into account personality, influencing factors and any internal and external triggers that feed the issue. He will also learn about desired achievements (just as would be done during in-person 1:1 session). This session will be used give instruction and support on the process of listening and put the final touches on what will be included in personalized recording.

This important live session will assist Craig to help clients discover what is holding them back from enjoying life and free them from self-defeating blocks. In the hypnotic process, well-crafted worded suggestions will help to develop a new thought process to not only break the habit of action but to crush the habit of thought that in the past has held the client back from achieving desires and goals. This first step of personal contact is so important to ensure clients receive therapy recordings that are specific and tailored to induvial needs.
STEP 2
Using information from private session a recording or recordings will be created that will be enjoyable to listen to everyday. Recordings that are specifically programmed with individual needs, wants and desires (just as what would be offered during in-person sessions)
Creating Specifically Tailored Personal Recording Sessions
Recordings will be filled with relevant suggestions to be absorbed by the unconscious mind, that unblock what has been holding clients back from living the life of their dreams. The best part is clients can listen to their recordings whenever they wish and with as much repetition as desired allowing them to be fully in charge! With regular use, the results of this style of therapy can be long lasting and truly effective.

As a bonus I will add binaural beats and tones in background that help entrain brainwaves just by listening to them. This is a system I have been using in my private practice for years.
STEP 3
Begin Within Personal Hypnosis Recordings will be emailed to clients. Clients will download their recordings to have accessible whenever they choose.Using headphones make yourself comfortable and relax.
Receiving Recordings
Allow your brilliant sub conscious mind go to work for you. Instructions for listening will be given depending on your program or issue. Remember, your mind needs time to eliminate old thought processes that you have spent years forming. Give it time to form healthy new beliefs and to develop a new thought process and habit which is more beneficial and rewarding. It is very normal for people to respond differently after listening to their recordings--Some notice instant change, some notice changes over time, some notice change in hindsight. However, be assured your mind is listening and change is happening no matter what the pace.

What styles of yoga do we offer at New World Wellness?There are many different styles of Asana Practice (the physical postures of yoga) that evolved from under the branch of Hatha Yoga (The word hatha means willful or forceful and Hatha is also translated as ha meaning "sun" and tha meaning "moon") that includes Asana, Pranayama (breathing techniques) & Meditation. How is yoga different from Pilates or stretching?Unlike stretching or fitness, yoga is more than just physical postures. Patanjali's eight-fold path illustrates how the physical practice is just one aspect of yoga that was developed to assist the body to sit for longer times in meditation. Even as a physical practice yoga is unique because we connect the movement of the body and the fluctuations of the mind with our breath. Connecting the mind, body, and breath helps us to cultivate an inward focus, which allows us to develop non judgment and non attachment. Yoga is just as much a practice to create a healthy mind as it is to create a healthy body.

Is yoga a religion?Yoga is not a religion. It is a philosophy that began in India an estimated 5,000 years ago. It is a system of wellness. Yoga sometimes interweaves other philosophies, but it is not necessary to study those paths in order to practice or study yoga. It is also not necessary to surrender your own religious beliefs to practice yoga. All Spiritual beliefs systems can be honored through the practice.

What does Om mean?Om is Mantra or vibration, that is sometimes chanted at the beginning and or end end of yoga sessions. It is referred to as the sound of the universe. The ancient yogis knew what scientists today have finally discovered—that the entire universe is moving. Nothing is ever truly solid or still. Everything that exists is in motion, creating a rhythmic vibration and the ancient yogis acknowledged this with the sacred sound of Om. Om vibrates through the universe (one verse) and can even be heard now on recordings from space (check this out on NASA website). We may not always notice this sound in our daily lives, but we can hear it in the rustling of the leaves, the waves of the ocean, in the sound of the wind, and even the vibration of our refrigerator!

Don't I need to be flexible to do yoga?EVERYONE can practice yoga & flexibility is not necessary! Many people think that they need to be flexible to practice yoga, but we practice yoga to become more flexible in mind and body! Students gain agility balanced by strength, coordination, and enhanced cardiovascular health, as well as a sense of physical confidence and overall well-being.

What do I need to bring to class?Yourself! You also want to bring water with a lid, wear comfortable loose fitting clothes, and if you have your own mat and yoga props bring them, but if not we provide them. We don't charge a fee for mat rentals, but we do request all studio mats are cleaned with our disinfectant wipes after each use.

Should I eat before yoga class?During classes we practice twists, we practice forward bends and Backbends. If you have not fully digested your last meal, it will probably be uncomfortable and make itself known to you. You may want to try a light snack such as protein bar, a few nuts, or juice about 30 minutes to an hour before class, but avoid any heavy meals 2-3 hours prior.

What classes are best for beginners?We recommend beginner practitioners start with Gentle Yoga Wellness, Weekend Rejuvenate or Yin Yoga. Yoga Nidra and Meditation classes are also great for everyone. Once you have practiced for awhile you may also enjoy Vinyasa Yoga, which is a more physically demanding practice.We recommend beginner practitioners start with Gentle Yoga Wellness

How much are classes?Our weekly group classes are being offered now at Happy Place Yoga & Music, which is the location of our former studio. Your Wellness Investment for classes at this beautiful space are: $10 cash only drop-in, $12 credit card pay drop-in, or 10 classes for $90 subject to change to other specials. Specialty classes and workshops rates vary.

What time do I arrive?The outside doors are locked when class starts. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to settle in and be ready for class. With the traffic you may plan for 15 minutes early!

Do I need to preregister for classes?Not necessary at this time, but check with us as soon as there will be the ability to do so from Happy Place Yoga & Music's website. Thus, this will guarantee your space!
